Computers were going to reduce the amount of paper in everyone’s life.  Instead, computers have increased the amount of paper we deal with by up to five times.  If you haven’t seen your kitchen counter top or desk top in the last several months, then this session is for you.

Come to this session to learn how to handle the papers that come into your life by setting up an easy to manage system and learn how to reduce the amount of junk mail you receive.

          325-08 Tuesday, March 25, 6:00 PM

Today, we seem to have more and more stuff.  It is easier to move to a new home than it is to reduce what we have to fit into the space we have available.  Determining how to store items effectively can be a challenge.

Come to this session to learn about tools and techniques to help you utilize your space more effectively.

          422-08 Tuesday, April 22, 6:00 PM

Do you feel out of control?  Do you have so many items on your to-do list and in your piles that you may never be able to leave the office or the house?  You can have a life and enjoy your free time.

Come to this session to learn how to take back control of your schedule and enjoy life's simple pleasures again.

Where Did That File Go? (Electronic File Management)
          501-08  Thursday, May 1, 11:30 AM

          520-08 Tuesday, May 20, 6:00 PM

Do you waste time searching for computer files you JUST created?  Do you ask yourself "What was the name of that file?" Is your e-mail Inbox overflowing?  If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, then this session is for you.

Come to this session to learn how to create a file naming convention that works for you.  Learn how to create folders and subfolders, move files and more. Also, learn how to tame your e-mail Inbox by creating rules and utilizing other OUTLOOK program features.

About Nancy Kruschke McKinney, CPO®:

I have been organizing my whole life.  I am a pack rat and in order to keep all of the items that I collected, I continually look for different and better ways to organize the stuff.  In college, I worked as a bank teller and quickly recommended and implemented organizing systems to manage the flow of information for all the tellers.  I worked in the financial planning industry for ten years, a very HIGH paper intense business and there I created, implemented, and trained on how to manage and organize the various information.

I am a Certified Professional Organizer®, an organizing coach, consultant, and speaker.  I design and implement organizing systems for paper files, computer files, and everything in between.   Since 1987, my clients have included large corporate departments, small businesses, and individuals.  I am a professional speaker, a published writer, and television personality.

Memberships include:  National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), Middleton Chamber of Commerce, Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce, Monona Chamber of Commerce, and the National Association and Wisconsin Chapter of Professional Organizers (NAPO).
