"The difference in trying to implement the organizing ideas on my own and
working with Nancy was like night and day. Nancy shed light on the areas of my

'get our ACT! together.' The Chamber recently started using a contact management
program called ACT! to better manage our contacts and our workflow. Once we had
the tool, we needed some training—and S.O.S. came to our rescue."

behold the future:
"...now it's time to refocus. my attention span is spent. although i did
spend all weekend (three days) hauling crap out of my basement, throwing it to
the curb, donating stuff to goodwill, and giving away cool belongings i no
longer cherish to friends, all of whom sincerely loved what i gave them. such a
fantastic feeling to empty, to clear, to focus. simply having space for space
sake. i feel uber organized, but not in an anal way. i'm just realizing that i
don't need the half of what i own. if i don't need it, want it, use it, it's out
the window. i'm not being hasty with old memories, though. i've simply been
obtaining/collecting/hoarding for 10 years now and the amount of belongings i
own is sort of ridiculous when i seem to wear the same 2-3 pairs of dress up
shoes whenever i go out, play the same 20-30 cd's when i listen to music, only
need one outfit for painting in when i have 3 or 4, never have,do or will ever
wear that pair of vintage pants that were a little too snug when i bought them,
but thought some day my hips would shrink, etc, etc, etc,
etc.................good god. absurdity. bottom line: less is more."
